NICK WEYMOUTH
Behind the Business
My passion for everything mechanical took hold in early 2009 and I’ve been designing and
producing quality machined and hand-finished components ever since. My time spent in
industry has given me knowledge of a wide breadth of manufacturing techniques related to
precision machine building and repair.
A large portion of my experience involved some fantastically large machinery including multi
axis planning mills, horizontal boring mills, and lathes, all with axes travels several meters long.
Though I did enjoy working on these machines, my true passion lies in small machinery and
components. This has allowed me to apply the truly spectacular machine building techniques
found on this industry leading equipment to a much smaller scale and produce components
withvery high quality and precision. Weymouth Machine Works is committed to supporting
the needs of professional and hobbyists alike, from engineers and tradespeople to like minded
creatives and passionate machine owners.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
SMALL COMPONENTS
Anything you can think of can be produced using varied specialized setups on multiple machines. High accuracy, custom work holding, and attention to detail are all welcomed
requirements of any job taken on at WMW.

BENCH WORK
Bench work is the beating heart of my passion for the mechanical arts. Scraping and lapping allow more time to be spent in direct contact with a work piece. It is this close relationship to the work that encourages the final form and functionality of a piece to come together in ways that most machines struggle to accomplish.

SMALL MACHINE RECONDITIONING
Versatility and practicality are just two qualities that small machines have to offer. The reconditioning of well-made machines to better than original specifications is often the more
cost-effective choice. Machines built with superior materials and techniques in years past have no equals among today’s small machine markets. An old and neglected machine can often find a new life with the right hands to restore its former glory. Which is why reconditioning fully depreciated machines can quite often fill a role on a bench top or shop floor where new machines of the same quality do not exist or simply cannot be purchased. Restored or even increased accuracy and running fits provide a longer life for your equipment, and a better user experience for many years to come.
